Volks-Aid is about
helping each other when one of us {I mean any one of us} has broken down
away from home. Let's face it we drive 20+ year old vehicles, the odds
on them breaking down is quite high after all, and what worse a time
than when we are away from home, we don't where to source parts locally,
or perhaps know an aircooled VW friendly garage, all these and more. The idea behind this
"group" is that when this does happen we have access to
someone local to where we break down that can help us, the help may vary
from tea and biccies, local knowledge, a postal address for parts to be
delivered to perhaps, through to mechanical hands on help. All the people on this list
are willing to help others on the list, with the only
"payment" being the knowledge that if/when they are
unfortunate enough to be in the same situation there will be someone
