STARTER MOTOR WIRING MODIFICATION |

we have a simple to understand wiring circuit showing the modification
needed to the starter motor wiring to improve the starter
efficiency. The left hand diagram shows the original wiring with
the right jand one showing the upgraded wiring, standard 30amp relay
available from parts shop or
breakers.
The system works by the original feed wire, [which over the years has built up an internal electrical resistance and so the starter doesn't get enough power to operate properly] operating a relay which then supplies, almost, direct battery power to the starter. Shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes to do. |
